Description
Tank bred Orchid Dottyback ( Pseudochromis fridmani ) The Orchid Dottyback is a beautiful and hardy reef fish known for its vivid purple coloration and active personality. Compared to many other dottyback species, it is relatively peaceful and well suited for reef aquariums when kept with compatible tank mates. This species spends much of its time exploring rockwork and small caves. It is naturally territorial but usually behaves well in community aquariums if given sufficient space and hiding places.
